1st October - Anniversary of Dmitrij Il'ich Kozlov

Dmitrij Il'ich Kozlov was in charge of designing nearly all surveying spacecrafts which were made in the USSR and in Russia. In other words, a significant number of spacecrafts being launched from the planet are created under him. On the base of Koroliov Designing Bureau, branch in Kuibyshev, he founded the Central Special Designing Bureau. Which is the most remarkable, he managed to keep the Bureau and to continue designing spacecrafts despite "Perestroika" and crash of the USSR.

D.I.Kozlov took part in foundation of a department at the Kuibyshev Aircraft Institute (nowadays Samara State Aircraft University) and he was in charge of that department for a long time.

The result of Kozlov's many years of fruitful activity was not only strengthening peace and maintenance of defence (reconnaissance aircrafts), but also contribution into piloted space flights (rocket carriers Soyuz, etc.)
