The first and lonely russian robot-human was presented in Saint-Peterbur
this summer at the exibition named "International naval salon 2003".
"The android's robots of new era" was constructed by engeniers of "New Era"
company. This campany has only russian capital.
Robot was introduced in 2 exemplars at the exibition: like man and like woman.
The company engeniers and students of technical universities of
Saint-Peterburg developed this robot 2 years, from the beginning of creating
the department of robototechnics of this Company.
Of about 1milliard dollars were invested into the development of robots
prototypes. If we would take into account the financial state of russian
science, we understand the extraordinary of this capital investment.
The general director of "New Era" Gennadiy Lokotkov talk, that tomorrow is
with androids, and there is an investment in 10million dollars up to
2013year for the creating of 5 robots more.
The androids can speak, i.e. to ask and to answer, can go and orient
themselves in room, can touch and wave their hands.
These features are less smaller than japan robots can , but we must take
into accounts, that these robots are the first generation of russian robots.
For examples, the most perfect at this day Asimo wents through 11 lifes.
Just now russian robots cat work only by preset programms. It's too earlier
to talk about autonomous activity. But they could take 11-th place between
more than 100 robot-participants in the football game RoboCup 2003.
