Airplane with Inverse Arrow-Shaped Wing Profile
is to be undergone to its 3rd stage of Trial at
the end of November
According to representatives of SUKHOI, the aircraft and war industry
complex, an experimental airplane BERKUT S-37 with inverse arrow-shaped
wing profile has been elaborated and prepared for the 3rd stage of flying
trials. In the course of the first and the second stages of the trials the
airplane was tested at subsonic and supersonic flying regimes.
The third stage is intended to lift progressively technical restrictions
imposed on the aircraft performance. The results obtained will be used in
designing the 5th generation fighter.
